Ink of different kinds.

With being in and out of home the past few days, I forgot to take a photo and report this cool piece I got from the mastermind of Dougside, for underwriting his recent re-printing project. Well done Doug – and love the haiku and the tshirt too! Thanks!

Last night, because I had nothing better to do, I found my various fountain pens including the wonderful and purple Cross. Put new cartridges in that one and a Sheaffer pen and got them running.

Tonight, because I had nothing better to do, I tried drawing a tree in my small sketchbook. I’m sure there’s a reason why I drew the horizon line first. In pen.

inking in the drawing book. (why did I draw that horizon line in pen?)

How wonderful. That pen looks good as new. Wonderful tree.

Great piece from Doug – drawing and haiku. And a t-shirt! A re-printing project? Sounds interesting. Can you tell me or is it secret??

The pens are truly inspiring. I love fountain pens but haven’t used one in years. Have a bunch of old ones. I should see if any of them are still truly useable. Some are cartridge pens and I don’t know where to get replacements. Any suggestions? Maybe I’ll have to break down and buy a new one!
