Writers Gotta Write

Trying to get a little ahead in these early days. Tonight I’m off to see Benedict Cumberbatch in a live presentation of Hamlet and next weekend, Neil Gaiman is on the agenda. This seems like a good place to stop for the moment though, 684 words to the good.

Meanwhile, across the whole region, which is big, people have been busy.

Off to a good start, and front loading is smart. Echoing your Mom’s sentiments!

Wait! Cumberbatch live, Hamlet????? Gaiman this weekend?????? Details, please. Sounds really great. Wish we could go together! BTW, recently read _The Ocean at the End of the Lane_. Magical storytelling. Loved it!

Yeah that was a great story. I really enjoy his books and his interviews. He’s on faculty at Bard currently – and part of that was doing what he does elsewhere – conversations with other writers about what they both do.
