Day 6

It was a long day. Two big writing pushes. I didn’t figure out where the Main Characters paternal grandparents live exactly (I have an idea) but I did figure out names for them and the surprise Auntie and her husband. I love choosing names. In fact I used NAME in angle brackets today because I knew what a time sink that can be for me, despite how much I love and enjoy it. I used names as an incentive for getting to goal.

I always count it as good when things get a bit weepy. Not soupy, just a wave of emotion. A little break through, a little emotion, all good.

None of this was exciting or mysterious. Well that’s not true. Part of it was exciting and mysterious. Just not the part leading up to the end and the weepiness. Good thing there’s a cute kitten — what??? There was an exciting and mysterious to be continued part several parts before that.

I’m just punchy is all. And I think I’ll stop for the night and do something else for awhile.

PS A few minutes after posting my word count I got an email from NaNoWriMo with a bunch of high fives and a fun challenge and a “keep going!” How cool is that?
