She won’t see it, but a young woman I helped today was wearing a ring like this. OK, but newly minted because she had just graduated from Holy Names. Mine came from Marylrose. I changed the subject about WHEN I had gotten the ring because it wasn’t really the point. We talked about her new computer and where she was going to college and that Holy Names was going to become middle and high school only. She asked who I knew there and I allowed probably the only person I knew was the Head of School and that when I’d been there she’d been a fresh out of college, rookie English teacher.

Anyway, she said, “you should wear your ring!”

I wear other rings now but for the record here’s the ring.

That is interesting. Mine got lost years ago. By Dad. I still have his, well wore. I think I tried to give it to Mike. He did not want his, Glad you still have yours. Is it gold? Mine was. That could bring you something. LOL.

Mine is still in pretty good shape! Must have taken it off when got down and dirty, as I usually do now with my wedding ring and others I wear regularly. Fun that you noticed her ring!
