daffodils!
They have been waiting very patiently waiting…. waiting…. and apparently the peepers convinced them it was time.
In other news: the other night I saw a pair of Hooded Mergansers on the Kinderhook Creek near my house. This has given me an entertaining time with my co-workers – “hey! guess what I saw? A pair of hooded mergansers!” Silence and confusion ensue, LOL.
