Fear Not!

Fear not, gentle readers. I’ve not fallen into a pit of dragons or anything like that.

I did survive all the Thanksgiving feasting, and Black Friday. In fact, when I went to Thom’s in Nassau on Friday, I was greeted by the owner with “You survived Black Friday!” Now that’s feeling like you’re a part of where you live.

Anyway here’s the real tale:

At the brink of the end, NaNoWriMo 2011

Yep, I’ve gotten a few words down digitally and am teetering at the edge of my first NaNoWriMo finish and win!

Tonight I wrote out the action part of the resolution. In the last bit there will have to be some questioning and figuring out of motives but the perp is in the possession of the main characters. After this big burst of words tonight I got up to take a break and all of the sudden I just knew my perp was a kobold! Not this kind, known to all Warcrafters, but something more along the lines of this. Actually there is quite a bit of similarity, not uncommon at all, but I just laughed and laughed. Of course he’s a Kobold!

You have to keep this under your hat for a bit because the others in the story haven’t really talked about it yet. But they’ll figure it out.

So proud of you. This is a red letter day. Dad is feeling good. Andy gets another job offer and you win your challenge with words. All this in one day. Someone is looking out for me. Love Mom
