Sometimes a little attitude goes a long way

I was actually rummaging for something else and stopped by Susan Arbetter’s blog at the TU.  There I discover she’s asking folks to “submit your coup haiku” to memorialize (?) the silliness/travesty that is the NYS Legislature.  Who could resist such an opening, especially after the recent success with mage haiku during National Poetry Month?  So here’s what I submitted

NY Legislature haiku

No work ethic shown,
the session fades; we must all
remember to vote.

Mine’s bigger you know
I’m right and you sir are not
but we are both fools.

I seize the power!
The gavel is mine at last!
I’m king of nothing.

But then, that’s the sort of week it’s been:
Open mouth and let others know for sure...

Poor Luciferr. That’s as good my new generic reply I’ve come up with for folks that ask for gold on WoW….

” I’m sorry, I am unable to process your request at this time. I will forward your request to a Blizzard GM who will be able to better serve you in this matter.”

I pulled that out on guy lastnight….he actually said thank you.

and the one they read of mine was the middle: “Mine’s bigger…” which would have been my choice too!
